CrockPot Maple Apple Butter

I love the crisp fall air, leaves changing colors, warm, fuzzy cardigans, hot coffee, campfires, and comfort food. There’s so many things you can do in the fall that just don’t hit the same in other seasons. Last year I created a fall bucket list that will defineltly ensure that you make the best of this current Autumn season.

Well this past weekend I checked one thing off my fall 2021 bucket list. I created my own home made crockpot apple butter!

This recipe for Crockpot Maple Apple Butter is easy to make and the final product is worth the 8 hour wait! I like to spread this apple butter on fresh biscuits and bagels. But you can totally try it on pancakes, or even make an apple butter sandwich! You can even add a small dish of apple butter and some sliced apples to a cheese board! Which I teach you all about in my blog post How To Create An Epic Charcuterie Board . Needless to say, the possibilities are endless with this recipe. So continue reading to get into this Slow Cooker Maple Apple Butter.

Things to Consider

  • I used Gala apples. However, you can also use either Honey Crisp, Macintosh, or Cortland apples for this recipe.
  • I tried to keep this recipe somewhat low carb so I used Golden Monk fruit sweetener as a replacement for the brown sugar.
  • I used the Ikea Korken Jar with lid to store the apple butter.
  • If you try this recipe, I would love for you to tag me and let me know your thoughts!
  • Enjoy!
